Microsoft OneDrive is a popular choice for cloud storage online with many great features. OneDrive is able to work with PCs, Macs, Androids and iOS devices. OneDrive offers web and mobile versions for an even easier way of saving files on the go. It also offers shared folder syncing, if you want others to view your cloud, and even lets you access files from your PC that you didn’t even upload! How’s that for storage!
OneDrive is free, to anyone who has a Microsoft account so if you don’t have one, sign up now! You can get up to 5GB of free storage space but if you need even more, there is a paid option which adds an extra 50GB! OneDrive is a great storage tool which lets you automatically upload and share folders from your desktop or phone and keeps all your important files stored securely!
Dropbox is one of the simplest cloud storage tools to use. Dropbox gives you access to your files from nearly anywhere and is free to download on computers and phones.
Dropbox only offers 2GB of storage space for free users, so you have to pick your favourite songs wisely! But you can earn an extra 500MB storage space for every friend you refer to Dropbox and other actions like enabling camera uploads on Dropbox. There are paid Dropbox versions which give you 1TB of storage space if you really need the extra space. Unlike Google Drive and Microsoft OneDrive, access to file sharing is only available in paid versions. Dropbox doesn’t offer as much storage space as others but it’s a great, simple tool to save your files and access them at any time.
Box offers storage space that makes sharing your content a breeze. Box offers you a whopping 10GB worth of storage but a maximum of 250MB file upload size. Free accounts are limited to only one user but If you would like to share an account, there is a paid service option which gives you an extra 100GB of storage and a 2GB file upload size limit.
Box is accessible on mobile devices using the Box app and allows you to easily share your files through a simple link. Box is a good option if you have small files and you regularly access files through your mobile but with a size limit on file uploads, you may want to find a different cloud storage tool to save your files.
